Participate in a meeting that presents Dunpar's latests proposal for 51 Lakeshore Drive:
Tom Jiancos and John Zanini from Dunpar have accepted an invitation from Lakeshore Planning Council to attend next Thursday’s LPC meeting to present their latest proposal.
When: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Where: Etobicoke York Community Council
Time: After 1:30 pm
What you can do:
Please send your comments or speak at the Community Council meeting. This is your chance to share your thoughts with the City to establish yourself as an interested party for the OMB Hearing.
How to be "an interested party":
Citizens cannot make presentations or send comments to the City Council meeting later this summer. Making a presentation at Community Council is the community's ONLY opportunity to raise concerns and to submit comments to the OMB if a hearing goes ahead. If you have not been “an interested party” prior to the OMB hearing they will not consider your comments.

Participate in a meeting that presents Dunpar's latests proposal for 51 Lakeshore Drive:
When: Thursday, June 11, 2009
Where: LAMP, 185 Fifth Street
Time: 7:30 to 8:30 pm
Tom Jiancos and John Zanini from Dunpar have accepted an invitation from Lakeshore Planning Council to attend next Thursday’s LPC meeting to present their latest proposal.
This LPC meeting is a good opportunity for you to make suggestions about what we would accept on this site and communicate your desires for our community.
The purpose of the meeting is to resolve as many issues as possible. The developers will present for twenty minutes with forty minutes (approx.) for discussion. You are welcome!
This may be the community’s only chance to meet with developers to discuss this issue before a possible later OMB hearing, probably in the Fall.
It is a good idea to become familiar with Etobicoke’s Zoning By-Laws, building standards and permitted uses for this R2 zoned site.

can direct you to relevant sections of Toronto’s Official Plan as well as previous OMB rulings that cover conformity to existing neighbourhood structures.
